Cookie notice
This page describes the cookies and similar storage used on schema-pulsepoint.digital, how long they last, and how to accept or reject optional ones.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores in your browser. This site also uses localStorage for the same kind of small choice: whether you accepted optional analytics. Cookies are not used here to log keystrokes or to follow you across unrelated businesses.
Types we use
Essential. Required to remember your cookie choice and to send a scoping note from the contact page. The site will still show pages and forms if you reject optional cookies.
Analytics (optional). Used only if you press Accept on the banner. They help us see which journal notes and engagement pages are opened. They do not fire if you press Reject.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| schemaPulsePoint_cookieConsent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner does not return every visit | Until you clear site data (localStorage) | Schema Pulse Point (first party) |
| spp_read | Optional: counts page opens after you accept analytics | 6 months | Schema Pulse Point (first party) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. To change a choice later, clear site data for schema-pulsepoint.digital in your browser; the banner will return. You can also block cookies in browser settings. Blocking essential storage may hide your previous choice and show the banner again. It will not stop you reading the dictionary pages or emailing us.
Third-party cookies
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when the font files are fetched. We do not embed third-party advertising cookies. If a future journal note includes a hosted video, that host’s cookies will be named here before the video is added.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting optional analytics means we will not record which pages you opened. Planning pages, fees, the method, and the contact form remain available. For how we handle personal data in messages, read the privacy notice.
